Entries are being accepted now for the 2010 Region of Peel Agricultural Society Jr. Ambassador Competition!

Junior Ambassador Entry Form

Contestant Requirements:

• Male or Female: need to have graduated from grad 6, 7 or 8 by June 30, 2010.

Competition Requirements:

• Contestants will be judged for personality, charm, appearance, interview and speech, community knowledge and involvement.
• Contestants will be required to give a 2 minute speech on a topic of their choice.

Prizes:

• Cash prizes will be awarded to the Jr. Ambassador and the 1st and 2nd Runner up. All contestants will receive prizes donated by local businesses!

Duties:

• Be present the weekend of the fair, attend other agricultural society related events as requested by the committee and/or board members.

Ambassador Entry Form

Contestant Requirements:

• Male or Female between the ages of 17 - 23 and live in the Peel Region (past 6 months).

Competition Requirements:

• Contestants will complete a private interview with judges, and present a 1-2 minute speech on a topic relating to community, agriculture or the fair. Contestants will also answer an impromptu question and have prepared a biography board.

Prizes:

• Cash prizes will be awarded to the Ambassador and the 1st and 2nd Runner up. All contestants will receive prizes donated by local businesses!

Duties:

• Be present the weekend of the fair, attend the O.A.A.S conference in Toronto in February and represent the Region of Peel Agricultural Society in the C.N.E. Ambassador Competition the following year in August.
