• General rules of the fair and dairy cattle apply unless otherwise stipulated below.
• Entries will be received by club secretary on or before September 2, 2009.. Must be fully completed. Will not be accepted unless they have name of exhibitor, name of animal, date of birth and name of sire. Passes will be given out when cattle are on fairgrounds. The exhibitor must be the owner as appears on the pedigree of the animal and not the leadsperson. Once entries are submitted, no additions or changes will be made after the deadline date.
• Registration fee of $5.00/entry must accompany entries. Payable to Halton-Peel Holstein club. $10.00 entry fee for late entries.
• This is an open Holstein Show.
• One animal substitution applicable to any class per exhibitor.
• Points to be awarded to fifth place on the top six animals in all individual classes. Junior females and dry cows to count only half points of milking females.
• All animals to be on the grounds with appropriate registration papers and any health papers required by noon on the day of the show.
• All exhibitors must pay $5.00 membership fee to the Region of Peel Agricultural Society.
• Any prize money not awarded in the classes as listed will be divided amongst the “ribbon” classes at the discretion of the Region of Peel Agricultural Society.

Prize money for the Halton-Peel Holstein show is made available from the following:

Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food - 20% of prize Money, Maximum $100.
Region of Peel Agricultural Society - Remainder of Prize Money & Ribbons
